Product Introduction
PIRMAX DUCTBOARD is a modified PIR (Polyisocyanurate) rigid thermal panel that can be used in domestic and commercial ducting. The PIR is laminated with non permeable aluminium foil to both sides of the board with one side black.
PIRMAX DUCTBOARD is extremely lightweight, easy to handle, allowing faster installs in HVAC ductwork applications and requiring less support hangers. With closed cell content greater than 90% and very low water transmission, even through the core, PIRMAX DUCTBOARD is highly resistant to moisture penetration.
- Complies with AS/NZS 4859.1:2018.
- Amongst the highest thermal values per thickness, available up to R2.0.
- Fire performance tested to UL 181, AS/NZS 1530.3 and AS 2122.1.
- RED LIST FREE product, ingredients are 100% disclosed to 100 ppm, and do not contain any Red List chemicals.

Recycled Content
PIRMAX DUCTBOARD utilises a proprietary process that enables the use of waste PET bottles in the product, that otherwise would have been destined for landfills or found their way into our oceans and rivers. In this process, plastic waste is transformed into highly efficient insulation that helps conserve energy and reduce emissions.
